We accept all kinds of payment

Chase Devonshire Ltd preferred method of payment is via standing order (a contractual obligation which must be adhered to). This is an instruction to your bank to pay Chase Devonshire Ltd your rent and must not be confused with a Direct Debit. Chase Devonshire has no control over a standing order and you can cancel or change this at anytime, unlike a Direct Debit where we demand the funds and control payment dates. We will provide you with a Standing Order mandate at the start of your tenancy. You can change this at any time and it is by far the cheapest option free!

We do however understand that in some cases that this might not be the best option for tenants.

We also accept the following payment methods. However please be aware of the extra cost that these will incur!

  • Internet transfer: please contact our office for our bank details and allow at least 5 working days for funds to clear.


  • Cash over the counter: we bank at HSBC and you will be able to pay into our account at any branch of HSBC within the UK. The following is imperative:
    1. Ensure that you provide the bank with a reference and that you contact our office immediately to confirm cash payments.
    2. Also ensure that you keep a copy of the payment stub in order to forward us a copy as proof of payment.

  • Credit/Debit card – this is a payment made over the phone. Please do not email us your card details ever! Call us on 020 7740 1770. Note that Chase Devonshire Ltd charge 2% of the payment or £5.00 which ever is the greatest as a handling fee for this service.


  • Cheque, Postal order or Bankers Drafts: please refrain from paying your rent via these means as it will delay your rent and may mean that you are charged for arrears. Please contact our accounts team should this be your only option.


  • Cash brought into our office: this method is a last resort and will be the most expensive way to pay your rent.
